Leah Forsyth-Steel and Victoria Spicer are the New Zealand-born creative duo behind Monument, a curated collection of sourced, art-led objects and design furniture. Based in East London, Monument is guided by form, material and gravitas. Each piece is individually sourced and chosen for its story, its personality and permanence. Since its inception in 2020, the Monument design practice has expanded to offer full-service sourcing, curating, and styling.

With a mutual appreciation for tactility, materiality and form, it’s a natural conclusion that friends and neighbours Boquita de Cielo and Monument, come together in a dialogue between their signature works. Juxtaposing Boquita de Cielo’s rich and textural hand-sculpted ceramic murals, with a pared back curation of Monument’s iconic design collection - the contrasting elements create a cohesive layered exhibit, that speaks to the shared philosophy of both studios.
